Using the ‘Balds eyesalve’ medieval mixture containing a day natural ingredients like garlic, researchers

from the University of Warwick have found it had been effective against five bacteria that cause modern day

biofilm infections

back from conflict zones.

2. Stenotrophomonas maltophilia- commonly related to respiratory infections in

humans

3. Staphylococcus aureus- a standard explanation for skin infections including abscesses,

respiratory infections like sinusitis, and gastrointestinal disorder .

4. Staphylococcus epidermidis-  infections like a catheter, surgical wound infections

5. Streptococcus pyogenes - causes numerous infections in humans including pharyngitis, tonsillitis,

scarlatina , cellulitis, infectious disease and post-streptococcal glomerulonephritis.
